Hello
I am a Drums and Bass Guitar Teacher
My Story
As a musician and tutor based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, I have built my career around creativity, collaboration, and sharing my passion for music. I am an active session musician and collaborator, currently performing as a bassist and percussionist for a variety of original artists and function bands. My experiences across diverse musical settings have enriched my understanding of music and its ability to connect people.
I have had the privilege of teaching as a private drum tutor, as well as working with music schools in Belfast and Antrim as a freelance tutor, percussion workshop director, and drum circle leader. These roles have allowed me to inspire and guide students of all ages and abilities, helping them develop confidence, technique, and a love for music.
Having recently graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Audio Production, I am committed to continuously growing as a teacher, musician, and collaborator.
My teaching approach is rooted in fostering creativity and individuality. I believe that each student has a unique voice and potential, and my goal is to help them unlock it through tailored lessons that balance technique, exploration, and fun. Whether we are breaking down rhythms, improvising, or mastering a favorite piece, I strive to create an encouraging environment where students feel supported to grow.
