About us

Enact Music was established in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 2015. From its beginnings as a music school, it developed a strong reputation as a place where students and music educators could grow in confidence, develop their skills and make the most of their musical potential.

 

Until June 2026, Enact Music operated its vocal and instrumental tuition services as a music school. From July 2026, these services moved to an agency model. Enact Music now introduces students and families to carefully selected independent tutors and supports lesson arrangements, administration, communication and access to teaching facilities and wider musical opportunities.

 

Through this agency service, students of different ages and levels can be matched with independent tutors for in-person or online lessons. Tutors use their own professional judgement to plan and deliver tuition around each student’s interests, goals, experience and stage of development.

 

Alongside its tuition agency services, Enact Music continues to provide professional learning for music educators. This includes the Certificate for Music Educators Level 4, validated by ABRSM and Trinity College London, as well as a range of continuing professional development courses in areas such as child protection and safeguarding, and equality, diversity and inclusion in music teaching and learning.
