Hello
I am a Piano, Singing, Flute, Violin, Ukulele and Guitar Teacher
I achieved my Grade 8 in Drums in 2018
With an accomplished background as the First Clarinetist in a symphonic orchestra and a double Master’s degree from esteemed institutions abroad (ex-USSR), I bring decades of experience in performance and teaching to my students. My teaching career spans various levels, from beginner to intermediate, and I have taught in London at Greenwich Community College, specializing in diverse musical styles, including classical and blues.
My passion lies in inspiring the next generation of musicians. I’m committed to nurturing each student's unique talent, equipping them with strong technical skills, and fostering a lifelong love for music. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your abilities, I aim to make every lesson a meaningful step in your musical journey.
My Story

I am due to qualify with a PGCE in Post-Primary Music Education (Ulster University, June 2026), alongside a Master’s degree in Creative Musicianship (Distinction), and specialist teaching diplomas in Pianoforte Teaching and Early Childhood Music Teaching. I have extensive experience teaching pupils of varying abilities through both classroom teaching and one-to-one peripatetic instruction.
Across more than 15 years, I have supported and worked with children, young people and adults with a range of additional needs through my roles as a private music tutor, volunteer choir leader, and Director of a community music school. This has involved adapting teaching approaches, differentiating materials, and creating inclusive, supportive environments where all learners can succeed. I have also supported pupils with specific needs including ASD, dyslexia and EAL, during my school placements.
In addition, I have personal experience of supporting close family members with ASD, which has further developed my understanding, patience and empathy when working with children with additional needs. My approach is centred on building confidence, communication and a sense of achievement, ensuring that every learner feels valued and supported.
