Hello

I have been studying piano since the age of 10, and music has been at the heart of my life ever since. While working through my classical piano grades, I also pursued broader qualifications, including a Diploma in Music Technology and a degree in Popular Music from the University of Wolverhampton.

 

Over the years, I have developed as a multi-instrumentalist and performer, exploring a wide range of musical genres—from reggae, soul, and R&B to jazz, classical, and pop. This journey has led me to a fulfilling career as the frontman of my band, Antiquity. I believe that performing and collaborating with other musicians is one of the most valuable experiences any aspiring musician can have.

 

As a teacher, I take a fun and friendly approach, with a strong focus on enjoying the instrument and music as a whole. I teach all graded levels (1–8) through registered exam boards, but my goal goes beyond exam success—I want my students to build the confidence to perform and, most importantly, to enjoy playing music with others.

 

If I didn’t enjoy a certain part of learning, I wouldn’t fully engage with it—and I believe the same is true when learning an instrument. By creating an enjoyable and supportive environment, I truly believe there’s no limit to what we can achieve together!
