Hi, I teach Violin and Piano.
I started playing the violin when I was six years old. Later I Continued my violin studies at the National Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis School of Art in Vilnius, Lithuania. During this period, I participated in several national and international competitions where I received various prizes, including 2nd prize at the A. Glazunov International Competition in 2003, Paris (France) and a diploma at the XII International August Dombrovski Competition in Riga (Latvia).
In 2009 I received the National Queen Morta Premium and the Grand Prix at the 2012 International Balys Dvarionas Competition for Young Pianists and Violinists and the EMCY Prize. In 2013 I took part in the 4th International J. Heifetz competition in Vilnius, where I received a diploma and played with the Baltic chamber orchestra "Cremerata Baltica".
As a soloist, I also performed with the Lithuanian national symphony orchestra. I took part in masterclasses given by professors J. Meissl, P. Munteanu, P. Lunberg, P. Schumayer, A.Kouyoumdjian, P. Juedt and many others.
I was a member of the string quartet "Festivo", which won 2nd prize at the XI International M. K. Oginsky Competiton of Chamber Ensembles and String Quartets in Belarus and took part in several European Chamber Music Academy sessions in the Netherlands, Latvia and Lithuania. In 2018 I graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and received a master's degree in Performing Arts (violin).
As a teacher, I strive to develop young people's motivation for learning and use music as a channel for self-expression and creativity development. I consider each of my students a unique individual, and I use a student-centered approach.
