Hello
I am a Singing and Violin Teacher
My Story
I am a singing and violin teacher with a strong passion for performance and helping young musicians grow in confidence and creativity.

I grew up surrounded by music and have been involved in performing and competitions from a young age. Singing is my main specialism, particularly musical theatre, and I have performed repertoire up to Grade 8 and diploma level. I also currently work with young emerging artists, supporting their vocal training and songwriting, which has given me valuable experience mentoring developing performers.

Alongside singing, I play the violin and have achieved Grade 6, with many years of experience performing in orchestras. Through this experience I have supported and guided younger string players, helping them develop both their technical skills and their confidence in ensemble playing. I also have basic piano skills and graded experience, which I use in lessons to support students’ musical understanding, accompaniment, and ear training.

I am currently studying Film Studies and Production at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) and have been directing my own films and working with actors for around five years. This creative background strongly influences my teaching style, as I enjoy helping students explore musical expression, storytelling, and performance skills, while still developing good technique and strong musical foundations.

In my lessons, I aim to create a supportive and enjoyable environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. I believe that learning music should be both structured and fun, combining solid technique, creativity, and confidence-building so that students can develop their skills while enjoying the process of making music.
