Hello

I have been playing music since the age of nine. I have over 18 years of experience teaching drums and guitar privately, helping students of all ages develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of music.

 

I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from the London College of Music and have spent the past 20 years performing in a wide range of bands. This has taken me to venues across Greece, Germany, Belgium, and throughout the UK and Ireland, giving me extensive real-world performance experience that I bring into my teaching.

 

Alongside private teaching, I currently work in schools as a peripatetic music teacher, and I continue to perform regularly in local venues and on the wedding circuit. As a teacher, I am passionate about helping students connect with music in a meaningful way. While learning to read music is important, I believe it’s just as vital that students feel the music, develop their creativity, and enjoy becoming part of it.
