Hello

I am a young dedicated traditional fiddle player and classical violinist, having started learning the violin at the age of four and training through the Suzuki violin method and have enjoyed learning the violin and playing music ever since. I am currently working towards Grade 8 in both classical violin and traditional fiddle.

I am a member of Ards Comhaltas and recently performed with the group at the Fleadh Cheoil in Belfast, including performances at the Ulster Hall, Waterfront Hall and Gig Rig stage. I was selected as a Comhaltas Fáilteoir, acting as a welcoming ambassador at the Fleadh and helping to welcome guests to the event. Alongside traditional music, I have experience performing with orchestras and string ensembles.

In addition to my own musical development, I teach beginner classical violin and currently lead the traditional Irish music group at my school, helping other young musicians to develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of playing traditional music together.

I am passionate about Irish traditional music and enthusiastic about sharing my skills with other young musicians. I aim to create a welcoming, encouraging and enjoyable environment where learners can develop their musicianship, learn traditional tunes and experience the unique enjoyment of playing Irish music as part of a group.
