Hello

I teach Singing and Flute.

My Story

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated musician and tutor, recently graduating with First-Class Honours in Music Performance. Through my studies and teaching experience, I have developed a strong appreciation for the important role that good teaching can play in developing both musical ability and confidence.

As a performance graduate, I am particularly passionate about helping students become confident and expressive performers. I believe music can be a powerful way of building self-confidence, especially for children and young people, and I aim to create lessons that are encouraging, enjoyable and tailored to each student.

I began teaching singing at various Belfast based music schools, where I gained valuable experience working with children in a group setting. I particularly enjoyed seeing how quickly students developed and how motivating it was for them to learn and progress together. I also teach singing students across a variety of styles, including musical theatre and pop. Through developing vocal technique, performance skills and musical confidence, I have seen students make significant progress both in their vocal ability and in their confidence as performers.

In addition to singing, I hold Grade 8 in flute and am passionate about the instrument. I am keen to work with beginner and developing flute students and to share my enthusiasm for playing and performing. My wider performance experience includes completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Music Technology), which gave me opportunities to develop skills across singing, acting and live performance in a variety of settings.

Above all, I love music and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with others. My aim is to help students develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of music in a positive and supportive environment.
