Join our new Indian Music & Singing class for adult women, starting on Monday 28 September 2026 at 7:00 pm.
This is a fun and supportive class introducing learners to Indian music through singing, melody, rhythm and group music-making.
Learners will develop:
- Vocal technique through singing exercises and voice culture
- Pitch and musical awareness
- Rhythmic understanding
- Sargam and basic Indian musical concepts
- Indian classical, Bollywood and popular Indian songs
- Volume variations and dynamic control, learning how to sing softly, strongly and with appropriate expression
- Musical expression and performance skills
- Confidence through singing and performance
- Social and collaborative skills through group singing
The sessions will be suitable for beginners and developing singers, with activities adapted to the learners’ age and experience.
The Class will work towards a special performance at the Enact Music Centre on the weekend prior to 17 March 2027, in celebration of St Patrick's Day, giving learners a clear musical goal and the opportunity to share what they have learned with family and friends in a multicultural environment.
There will be 22 weekly sessions, starting on Monday 28 September 2026 and concluding with a concert.
There will be no class on:
- 02 November 2026
- 21 and 28 December 2026
- 4 January 2027

💷 COST & PAYMENT
Each session costs £8 per child.
Payment can be made:
- in full in advance, or
- in three consecutive monthly instalments.
⚠️ CANCELLATIONS & MISSED SESSIONS
As each child’s place is reserved for the full programme, sessions missed or cancelled by participants are non-refundable and remain fully payable.
The sessions will be led by Ranvir Singh.
