Turn up the volume and experience the excitement of playing in a real band! This energetic Rock & Pop Band Summer Class at Enact Music in Belfast BT8 is part of our exciting kids summer music camp and summer scheme in Northern Ireland, designed to inspire young musicians through fun, collaboration, and creativity.
 
During this week-long class, students will work together to learn and perform popular rock and pop songs, developing essential musical skills such as rhythm, chords, melody, timing, and song structure. Guided by experienced music tutors, children will discover how different instruments work together in a band and how to rehearse and perform as a team.
 
Students will strengthen their listening skills, musical coordination, stage confidence, and creativity while exploring the foundations of live band performance. As they rehearse together, they will also develop valuable teamwork and communication skills, learning how musicians support each other to create a great sound.
 
This class is ideal for children who sing or play instruments such as guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, or other band instruments. Whether they are beginners or already learning an instrument, participants will enjoy the thrill of making music with others while building confidence and improving their musicianship.
 
By the end of the week, students will feel more confident performing, more connected with other young musicians, and inspired to continue exploring the exciting world of rock and pop music.
 
As part of the Enact Music Belfast Summer Scheme, this class offers one of the most engaging music summer camps and kids music classes in Belfast, giving young musicians across BT8 and Northern Ireland the opportunity to experience playing in a band in a supportive and creative environment.
 
Led by experienced band coach Frankie McIlvanna, each weekly session focuses on developing instrumental and vocal skills, learning to play in sync with others, and building stage presence — all in a fun, friendly, and pressure-free environment.
